Personal Information
At certain junctures, I Collaborator collects personal identity information, such as your e-mail address, name, home or work address or telephone number, and more. At another time (by the way of cookies or other technologies), as with most websites, I Collaborator may collect other information such as your preferences, interests and favorites; this information is then matched with your profile to give us more information about your web-habits and patterns. In this manner we are able to deliver appropriate messages at an opportune time.
For example, you are accessing via a pay phone on I-95: while your mail is being retrieved, we may be able to guide you to a camping ground nearby and tell you that a restaurant in the vicinity has sponsored the message.
At I Collaborator, we assure full confidentiality of information you provide. Your information will be used to provide you with targeted, services messages and will be used only by I Collaborator and its partners. Your personal identifiers such as e-mail, telephone numbers and addresses are never shared as a package.
Some information about your computer is automatically collected by I Collaborator and can include your IP address, browser type, domain details, access times and referring Web site addresses. This information is used for, and sometimes critical to, the operation of our service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of
Personal data is often disclosed at, and picked from various public areas such as chat rooms, newsgroups and on-line forums - though these may happen at public areas or at a public area to where a link provided by us, we cannot maintain any control over who is privy to the information and how it will be used.
Use of your Personal Information
I Collaborator and its partners collect and use your personal information to deliver the services you have requested for or your patterns imply an interest in. Additionally, we use your personal information to inform you of other products or services available from I Collaborator and its partners or affiliates. We will not sell, rent or lease our customer list to any anyone: some information may be shared with our trusted partners, and even then, under conditions to maintain total confidentiality of information.
As outlined earlier, we collect certain information when our web pages are visited, to determine usage of certain services and to understand user patterns; this data is used to deliver customized content and advertising to customers whose pattern indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area.
We will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:
  • Comply with legal process served on I Collaborator, its corporate entity, its officers and employees, its allies or partners, or the site;
  • Protect and defend the rights or property of I Collaborator; and,
  • To protect the personal safety of users of I Collaborator, its web site, or the public.
Use of Cookies
A growing number of websites use "cookies" to help you personalize and enhance your surfing experience; cookies are files that are invisibly placed on your hard disk as you surf websites. I Collaborator cookies are assigned to you, and can be read by I Collaborator.
Cookies are designed to provide convenience. For example it tells the website you have returned to a page and its database says you live in zip code 10001 and there is a storm watch there: using a cookie placed earlier, it will recognize you and give you the message. Simply put, a cookie helps the site recall your specific information on subsequent visits. Advanced use of cookies simplifies the process of recording your information; Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can set your browser to disable acceptance of cookies. With cookies disabled, you will not be able to leverage the full functionality of
Much of the content available on the Internet is free of cost to you; by contrast - most of the websites on the Internet are commercial entities. There had to be a happy-medium tradeoff between the commercial motivation and the need to receive services free of cost - advertising.
Now, I Collaborator has developed a voice advertising engine. This is designed to deliver advertisers' messages to pertinent users at the appropriate time. Our Voice advertising engine, like banner ad engines compile information about where you, or others who are using your computer, heard their advertisements and determine which ads are effective. This information allows the server to deliver advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you.
Surfing outside I Collaborator, you will encounter banner ads, and I Collaborator itself may at times use third party banner advertising networks to augment its income: in events like that I Collaborator has no control over the cookies that may be so placed.
